User Interface Define your own browser based user interface for your VersaIT application.  User interfaces can be constructed by configuring the pre-built generic user interface, or by constructing a custom interface using industry standards based technologies: HTML, CSS, ASP, XSL, Javascript, or a combination of these technologies. Security Control access to your data and application functions with a complete set of configurable security mechanisms:  session management, userid/password management, secure login, SSL encryption, record/item level controls, read/update/delete security levels, user groups, relationship based controls. Database Define your real world business entities using the advanced VersaIT object database, traditional relational structures, or a combination of these approaches.  The VersaIT object database provides advanced data handling features: adhoc item adds, cloning records/items/structures, flexible support for web related information types (text, dates, numbers, embedded searches, web links, files, record links, html fragments, email, search requests, configurable function buttons). Searches and Reports Create reports and searches using VersaIT adhoc search/report tools, or using SQL.  Present reports in HTML, PDF, Excel, Word, RTF, or custom formats.  Take advantage of advanced features to turn business data into usable information: click-thrus to details or sub-reports, drill-down navigation, color highlights, direct editing of data within report results, “queue-like” navigation of report results.
